Slam Dunk 2020 – The Best One Yet? [Preview]

We’ve been huge fans of Slam Dunk Festival for many years. Since we first went in 2009, we’ve only missed one year, so we feel like we’re in a great place to offer this opinion – 2020 looks like the strongest line-up so far.

The two main headliners are a big draw. Sum 41 are one of those bands that just keeps getting bigger and bigger a their long career goes on, and Don Broco, although not really our bag, are hot property. It’s also great to see NOFX bringing the Punk In Drublic stage back. We love NOFX, and even though they were crap last year, there’s something about them that keeps us going back to watch them.

If you’ve followed us here on One For The Road for a while, you’ll be well aware of how much we love Zebrahead, who’re playing for the sixth time in the last seven years. They’re one of the most entertaining live bands on the planet, and we’ve seen them play a variety of slots across the festival throughout the years. We’re really excited to see them hit the main stage this year, a slot that they thoroughly deserve.

What we’re really looking forward to though, is seeing some of the bands a bit further down the line-up. Here’s three bands that you should definitely go and check out, that might not have been on your radar:

Bayside

Days n Daze

Vinnie Caruana
